Our Client Services

 

We understand that clients have different needs, interests, and budgets. Because of this we offer a wide variety of services to clients in order to customize our work for them. Here is a selection of the services we offer; please contact us for more information:

Ethnography: This is the real deal, where we spend months researching, in detail, your topic of interest. This kind of research can only be done by highly trained anthropologist or sociologists.

Qualitative (or Ethnographic) Research: This is what many clients think of when they're taking on a larger research project. It's smaller scale than a full ethnography, but still takes about eight weeks to complete.

Secondary Research: With 20 years' collective research experience and access to an array of academic journals, there's many questions a client can have answered with our secondary research option. This option virtually eliminates the travel budget, while still providing solid research that can meet strategic and tactical needs.

Retainer Work: This is a great option for companies who want to lock in expertise on an as-needed basis. Our retainer work includes providing secondary research on topics of the client's choosing, assistance with strategic insights, identifying when (and if) primary research projects are really needed, and managing research conducted by third parties to ensure quality.

Strategic Ideations: Strategic insights are about more than just results, they are about taking those results and making them meaningful in a wider cultural context. We can help you with that. For clients who feel they are sifting through mounds of facts and insights but getting limited results, focused ideation sessions by trained anthropologists can take what you already know and turn it into something truly useful.

Field Bootcamp: Research results are great, but they frequently make more sense to people when they can see it for themselves. During our field bootcamps, we work with you to determine what cultural contexts and behaviors you want to see, and then we plan a relevant field experience that maximizes your time. We'll show you clear examples and contexts of the cultures you're interested in, be they retirees on golf carts in Phoenix or commuters with mobile media in Chicago.
